Silent Cries Movie Trailer

After creating my last trailer, I wasn't happy with the outcome. I couldn't put it together to create what I imagined it to look like. I feel like MoviePlus doesn't have enough available to give the trailer the right effect that it needs to really stand out and catch the audiences attention.
Fortunately, I had the help of a friend who said I could use his software to try and create something better. He knows all the different techniques and skills within video editing and taught me how to create the perfect trailer to fit what I had originally planned.

Audience feedback
"The music was very effective and made the whole trailer come across as quite powerful and eerie. The sound effect placed at the beginning and end really helped me to understand the genre of the trailer."
"Great use of connotation - making the red tie stand out as a sign of danger and highlighting the red blood to symbolise death."
"The use of lighting really set the scene of the trailer. It allowed us to understand the genre of your film as well as it adds a dark and mysterious effect to the plot and the main character involved."
"It's good that you have made the wall scenes landscape because the portrait footage gave over an unprofessional look so having it all landscape now is a lot better."

Luckily, I wasn't given any improvements as they said it was the best version yet and that I don't need to change anything; it portrays its purpose and gives over exactly what it needs to towards the audience.

Second Draft of Trailer

Audience feedback:
"woods picture is a lot better than the other background image"
"graveyard scene is really good; helps set the mood of the trailer"
Improvements:
Slow everything down slightly, it all seems rushed and too fast.
Add more close up footage to really get an insight into the characters facial expressions.
Instead of using a woods picture, actually film the woods to have more of an eerie effect.
Make the portrait scenes landscape.
The text speed and transitions are all different and slightly confusing. Make them all one font and keep it to one transition so it all fits together better.

First Draft of Trailer

Audience feedback:
"Music is very effective; really portrays the genre of the film"
"Some of the camera shots are really good. It's really clear what each shot is trying to show"
Improvements:
The one portrait scene on the wall needs to be re-filmed so it's landscape like the rest of the trailer. Otherwise it looks out of place and unprofessional
take away some of the text slides; there are too many of them and not enough actual footage.
change the text slide background, doesn't go with the theme of the trailer
Slow down the medicine scene to make it more dramatic
Make the wall scene in time with the music to make it more effective
