Plot Synopsis Of The Trailer

Daniel walks into the school on his own with his guitar in his hand. He walks past a group of girls that stare at him and laugh. Sophie then walks past him with a friend and looks at Daniel; she smiles and looks away. Daniel stops and stares at her as she walks along the corridor...

Later on you see him playing guitar in the park. From behind you hear a girl say, 'You're really good'. Daniel quickly turns around to see Sophie. Daniel doesn't say anything so Sophie sits next to him. She says, 'Hi I'm Sophie' and holds out her hand. 'I'm Daniel' he says and shakes her hand...

They are then shown hanging out together; walking along the path, getting something to eat and having a laugh. They then spot Sam and his mates in the distance. The next few scenes will be of Sam getting in the way; close ups of Sophie's phone will be used to show missed called from him, waiting for her outside school and trying to fight Daniel...

Towards the end there will be a moment of Daniel and Sophie sitting together on the sofa at his house. Sophie would say, 'What are we going to do?'. Daniel replies, 'We're gonna fight if that's what it takes for us to be together!'. They both smile and look into each others eyes. They lean in for a kiss but the shot is quickly cut off. There will then be a voice over of Daniel whispering, 'Whatever it takes'...

Occupation: Sixth Form Student

I chose Niamh because I know that she is a really good actress and I can trust her to do exactly what I want her to do. She is hard working and has partly the same characteristics as the character she will be playing. She is well known in the year and has a good group of friends around her. She has strong hopes for the future and has her own unique style and approach to things. I believe she will be able to play this character well.

CHARACTER: DANIEL!

Played by: Ronnie Doherty

Eye color: Blue

occupation: Sixth Form Student

I decided to put Ronnie as the main guy because Ronnie is the most sensible and independent guy out of the group. He loves to play guitar which would be a great bonus for the trailer and i know he is a great actor who will portray the character well. When the time is right, I know that he will put in some really hard work to make sure he plays the character at his full potential.

CHARACTER: SAM!

Played by: Jack Greenwood

Age: 18

Hair color: Brown

Eye color: Brown

Occupation: Sixth Form Student

Jack is a very loud and energetic person, so to play the tough, loud, bad guy will be perfect for him. Jack has a strong passion for drama so will put 110% effort into his work. He is a popular guy at school and does his best to please everyone. I believe he has the strength and ability to portray this character to the standard that I imagine him to be.

All three actors are good friends so there will be no awkwardness between them. I think they will all work well and look good together in the final piece.

Physical appearance: Long brown wavey hair. Hazel eyes. No make up. When in school, smartly dressed (fitted dress, blazer, heels, hair in bun. Outside school, jeans, floaty tops, hair down, trainers.

This character is presented as smart and very unique. She is a pretty and independent girl who has a mind of her own. She's quite popular in school and has strong ambitions for the future. She dated Sam for 14 months however, she ended it when he decided to drop out of school and do nothing with his life. She didn't think she was ready for another relationship until she met Daniel. She connects straight away with Daniel but is scared that it will end up like her and Sam.

MAIN MALE CHARACTER:

Physical appearance: Short brown hair. Glasses. Blue eyes. Muscular build. Tall in height. When in school, suits. outside, jeans, baggy checkered shirts.

This character will be the new guy at school. He moved over when his parents divorced and he decided to live with his dad. He is a very shy, independent guy who struggles to fit in at the new school. People in his year don't care about him and try to push him away. When playing guitar at the park one day after school, he spots Sophie with her friends. He straight away feels a connection with her. Due to his relationship with Sophie, he doesn’t get along with Sam who tries to ruin things between them. He wants to be with Sophie but doesn't want to cause any trouble; he has learnt to just keep his distance from people.

2ND MAIN MALE CHARACTER:

Name: Sam

Age: 19

Occupation: unemployed, college drop out
Physical appearance: Short brown hair. Brown eyes. Muscular build. Tall in height (taller than Daniel). Always wears jeans and a hoodie. Kind of scruffy.

Sam used to be a popular guy in school; loads of friends, great girlfriend and a bright future ahead of him. He parents are rich and has lived off them all his life. This all changed when he got overly confident and decided to drop out of college; he thought he was too good for it. After dropping out he became lazy and couldn’t be bothered to get a job or go back to college or university. His parents stopped giving him money and kicked him out the house. He lost most of his friends and his girlfriend, Sophie. He still had feelings for Sophie and hated the fact that she had moved on. He had then decided to do anything he could to split up Sophie from Daniel and win her back.
